10 Epic Warhammer 40K Forums

 Greeting Young Peons,

today we are are going to talk about some of my favorite Warhammer forums for Warhammer 40k. I am creating these resources to help all the young peons out there! I remember when I first started to scour the internet looking for content about warhammer 40k. It was a complete and utter pain, every time you think you found something, it ends up being a complete let down! Let's be honest, it's total war out there when you are using google to search for the the best Warhammer 40k forums. That isn't the way it should be. It should be useful Warhammer communities producing epic 40k content, all day, everyday.

Anyways, that's more than enough rambling, let's dive right into it. Today we will be reviewing my favorite Warhammer 40k forums. I'll be sure to give you my review of each Warhammer forum and why I choose it. Oh and make sure to keep an eye out at the end of this resource. I will be providing some more resources that will help you on your journey!

10 EPIC WARHAMMER 40K FORUMS:

This Warhammer Forum is one of my favorite boutique 40K communities. Their warhammer tactics, army lists, and miniature painting's sections are top quality! The funny thing is, I would have never found this little gem if it wasn't for /r/warhammer subreddit. The Hive as I like to call it provides a very active closeknit community that is extremely helpful. I have yet to be flamed, unlike most warhammer communities. I know that most of the warhammer 40k community is split up right now. Everyone is becoming reclusive within their own 40k factions. Which, overall isn't a terrible thing. It does however provide a bit more hostile of a community on larger sites. You won't run into these issues with The Tyranid Hive.

The Herest Online warhammer 40k community is amazing, I absolutely love this community. It is much larger than the Tyranid Hive but provides fabulous threads and resources for the warhammer community. I personally appreciate the fact that they have a dedicated section for kickstarters. This was really what inspired me to start thinking about creating my own. The forum announcements are consistently managed as well for the 40k community. Oh and the 40k rummors on this site, are typically the first to announce. So, if your looking for a warhammer forum, that has a welcoming community, and a ton of resources, then Herest Online is for you.

This is another wonderful example of a small close-knit warhammer 40k community. The difference is, these guys live on the dark side if you can't tell upon visiting the forums. Topics range all accross the board like many of the sites but this community is very welcoming, despite it's dark appearance. I personally enjoy the warhammer army lists posted on The Dark City. They also have an excellent section for all the young Archon's out their called "Dark Eldar Tactics". Anyways, though this warhammer community is small but absolutely worth checking out.

Yes, I know what your thinking. Who hasn't heard of BOLS? Regardless, it is a premiere warhammer 40k forum community. I actually enjoy the fact that some of these warhammer forums like BOLS are so large. It help's to understand the diversity of Hammerheads in the world today. Much like Herest, I appreciate the Kickstarter section. I actually have enjoy BOLS the most because of the other game forums. I know this is all about Warhammer 40k forums, but it is nice to explore. After all, curiosity is required for creativity in a game of strategy.

I actually stumbled upon this forum in a facebook group and had no idea it existed. Apparently it is huge though, I just recently started scouring the threads. Overall, my experience have been positive with this warhammer 40k community. I've personally enjoyed "The Space Wolves" section but that's just because I am all about those wolves. This 40k community is very active, you'll never be alone on here. In fact, I just recently recommended the warhammer tutorials section to a friend of mine who just started. So, if you are looking for something that is well balance, with a very active community, The Bolter and Chainsword is for you.

Necrontyr has one probably the best current modeling projects for warhammer that I have seen other than on Reddit. Overall, this forum is a smaller forum but for some reason never gets mentioned. I though i'd show it some love by including it today. For the most part, everyone on this warhammer forum focuses on warhammer tactics and warhammer army lists.

This forum is flipping awesome, I personally love everything about and it is probably my favorite warhammer community. It was one of the very first warhammer 40k communities I felt welcomed in, therefore I have clanged to it over the years. Their is a pretty solid amount of diversity on Librarium, you can find information on just about anything. The battle reports community is also very active unlike most of the other sites. They provide more detail in my opinion on average. So, if you're like me and looking for a warhammer 40k community that is balanced. The librarium 40k community is the perfect starting point.

I actually don't use these forums as much, they are very good though. The community is large and vibrant, although I didn't discover them as a warhammer 40k community forum. I discovered their warhammer 40k youtube channel first. Overall, MiniWar is a crowd favorite among the 40k community. They also have a very active youtube channel and warhammer 40k section on their blog. It's an all around great choice if Librarium isn't cutting it.

This was one of the original warhammer 40k communities that I ever got involved with, therefore felt I had to include it. These days, DakkaDakka isn't for the faint of heart due its very large and sometimes hostile community. Despite the hostility though, this warhammer 40k forum provides plethora of solid information. Just remember when you're getting started to tread lightly until you find your voice in this warhammer community.

There is so many new Warhammer 40k forums, blogs, and social communities popping up now. Warhammer is overall just growing so fast, it's beyond it's self. Personally, I am proud to be part of the best freaking tabletop game community in the world and thats what I create these resources.
